DISNEY TATTOO-TIGHTS.

I've had these tights for a while now but I just really love them, as I do all things Disney. (╯3╰)

But most other things Disney things I have are Mickey + Minnie ~ so I love my Daisy Duck addition, she's a cutie.

I chose a thick denier in these tights because my legs get cold easily. But they still do look like I have an awesome Disney Tattoo across my legs~! And wearing them with my clear JuJu jelly shoes means that you can see the whole print too.

 Here I added Ribbons to my Jelly Shoes to go with daisy and it doesn't totally cover the print on my feet!

This last look is on lookbook.nu so if you're on there please let me know what you think !!  ~~

BIRDS NEST.

Spring is here !!

Chiii~huuu !! (((((ノ☉3☉)ノ

["yippeee" in Hawaiian Pigeon]

So to celebrate Spring I bought some birds...

fake ones though.

They live in my hair [yep, this is how my brain works].

I got them from Paperchase, in the wedding section [an exciting place to be as I'm planning mine *eeeee*]. I think they're meant to be on place settings and things like that, but this isn't the first time I've worn birds in my hair so I knew right away where their new home would be!

They had quite dark brown feathers on them so I had them clipped, 1. So they don't fly away *duh* and 2. because I very rarely wear brown in any capacity.

Their little crocodile clips are probably murdering my bleached hair but it means they haven't fallen out!

So here they are in action !!

They sit really nice
with my flower headband.

With bows too!

Let me know what you think ~ should I wear more animals in my hair? *yes*
What creature should be next?

LOLITA VINTAGE.

Yay back to more vintage clothes ~!!♡♡♡♡♡♡

In just a second... :3

Recently I've been getting more into Lolita-kei styles.

[Here's some background]
I am really into Japanese street styles
♡♡♡, not very surprising I know, but if you're new here I just thought you should know that.

(o ̄‿ ̄o)

There are different styles and I've never been into labelling my own style but I like mixing around with these ones because the basis is to look kawaii rather than cool. And that's just me ~ I'm not cool at all. (⊙3⊙)

I first got into Decora ~ a long time ago. Internet rules state 'pics or it didn't happen' but I honestly can't find any. (≧▽≦) Decora means 'decorate' and is about decorating yourself with loads of accessories and colours.

I'm mentioning decora because sometimes I like to mix a little decora with lolita and fairy-kei styles.

Lolita comes in many different forms ~ Gothic lolita is a common one. A lot of frills, lace, corsets, big skirts, parasols ~ dressing like a doll. Pastel Lolita is my own personal favourite. ^^

Fairy-kei seems pretty new in comparison, it's basically pastel colours and childish things ~~ yaaayyy!!♡♡♡
~~~
ANYWAY ~ background over.
(◠‿◠)
Rokit have been getting in some older dresses ~ so I treated myself to a dress and some new shoes.
And from that comes my first attempt at lolita with an outfit entirely from Rokit [bar tights]
 ~(•ε • ~)
Liz Claiborne silk head scarf ~Rokit
♡
Mickey+Minnie Mouse gold chain ~Rokit
♡
Mint lace dress + cowgirl boots ~Rokit
♡
Fluffy backpack with ears ~also from Rokit♡ Still not sure what animal it is ~ I say rabbit, my other half says moose (!) and some of my friends say koala.
It was so fun being a little lolita ~ someone at the shop said I looked like a Polly Pocket *day made* hehe !! (≧◡≦)
So please let me know what you think ~ I'll be posting this to my lookbook.nu too ~~!!
HERE IT IS <-clicky
TWIN-TAILS.
 Twin-Tails Are Not Just For Little Girls
So curl up your hair, split it between two hair-bands and get twin-tailing !! \(^o^)/
pink coca-cola bottle washed
away in my sea-like hair ~ star fish & turtle for
additional theme support.
IMO, twin-tails are best when they're a little imperfect ~ a bit messy. Team them up with some dark colours and avoid short skirts. Because twin-tails are a big step in the kawaii-lolita direction and a bit riskay for anyone over the age of 6 ~ could be NSFW if you want to be taken seriously !! ;P
We love a bit of risk though, don't we? :)
Here I still had kawaii additions to my outfit [like the unicorn's head on my chest] ~ I love mixing lolita + 'mature' styling. Fun Fun Fun (^-^)
Let me know what you think, would you rock twin-tails or do you think it reminds you too much of when you woke up early to watch as many cartoons as you can.
OUTFIT POST. #9
This is going to be the smallest outfit post ever[well so far] ~ just wanted to show you all my unexpected matching.
yaay I'm talking about my hair matching tights outfit. :P I call these my Uchuujin[Alien] tights ~ and it's just a happy accident that they match but I might do this again when I dye my hair a different colour. I like how the matching colours are broken up between complimentary colours from the top and skirt.
Breaking it down~
Top - MADE (cropped sleeves, body, and cut neckline by me :P)
Belt - 'model's own' ~ given to me by my lil sis. ^^
Skirt - Charity Shop!
Tights - H&M
Shoes - Converse
Hair down today so I can show you my jellyfish impression. Hahaha
BANDANANANANA.
I love a bandanna. I always like to tie them at the front of my hair in a sort of Tu-pac style{see fig.1}.
{fig.1 ~ Tu-pac's headgear of choice.}
Unfortunatly for Tu-pac, having a fringe makes the whole bandanna placement a whole lot easier. They sit perfectly just above my bangs. Which is probably why I love wearing them so much, they're so quick and easy, and they come in endless varieties.
Here's one of my favourites.~
Of course it's a Disney Princess Bandanna
~ we're here for kawaii, ne? \(^o^)/
At the moment I'm wearing across Cinderella and Snow White ~ the two blue ones to match up with my hair a little. I might switch it up but I always press my bandanna's when they're folded to make sure they stay like that. So to switch them up like that would mean more ironing... (>.>)
One of the main issues with the bandanna when wearing it like I do is that you want to make sure most of the picture is visible. But folding it into itself like wrapping it up means that a lot of the pattern is disrupted. To fix that I fold them in half like normal then fold them like a fan until there's only a little bit left, then I wrap it around like usual. You can fan-fold it all the way but wrapping it around a little means that it won't slip out of the fold as easy. I super steam press them [mine are all cotton so it's okay ~ watch out with the polyester ones though[!!]].
I usually only need 1 or 2 kirbi grips to keep it still ~ usually beside the knot or just above my ear as shown.
OUTFIT POST #5.
 New things New Outfit Post.
Got a few new accessories from the shop the other day and here they are.
I love wearing something in my hair and it helps if that something is super kawaii ~ this is a YSL fabric sample that was in among the silk scarves, the pastel colours and weird print meant that I had to get it.
The second 'new thing' is this gold Disney necklace ~ I am loving the Disney stuff we're getting in the shop at the moment, I want a lot of it, but I chose this as it makes me think of Teddy and I [for those new to this blog Teddy is my much much better half]. The little gold hearts on the chain make it look extra special and the pendant itself is on one link of the chain so it's not going to go spinning round my neck.
The T-shirt I've had for a while now, it says something like Strawberry Bunny or something. Just some random kawaii print. It's crazy stretched though, and so now the v-neck doesn't sit like a perfect V but I don't mind that, I like wearing baggy, loose-fitting Ts.
I am also wearing my favourite belt [not really a huge accomplishment for that belt as I have like 3] ~ just a simple black strap with a little 'F' buckle but I love it because it makes me feel a little bit like a superhero. ;D
Here's the run-down::
Head Scarf - YSL Fabric Sample from Rokit
Cardigan - Rokit
T - Heritage 1971 / Forever21
Belt - Rokit
Jeans - H&M
Shoes - Converse
OUTFIT POST #3
Today's style:: Kawaii Grunge.
Flannel Shirt: Ralph Lauren Polo from Rokit
Sleeveless T-shirt: Harley Davison Rokit Recycled
Jeans: Levis (Bleached myself)
Shoes: Converse
 When mixing together two different styles one is going to win - no doubt. But that's okay because if it was neck + neck I think it would be too miss matched and confusing. It's better to have a grunge style with a hint of kawaiiness or super kawaii with a some grunge themes. The Flannel shirt is grunge but it's RL pastel colours make it cute too, so I wore it with my Harley Davison T-shirt [Rokit took the sleeves off and made the armholes deeper hence Rokit Recylced]. Here I attempted the same facial expression as the wolf, but I'm glad I can't wrinkle up my nose like that !!
Kawaii-ed it up with my fluffy rucksack. It's got ears too and I put a little blue bow on it's face [not grunge at all but I did say one theme had to win!] Teddy insists that my backpack is a moose, it's not a moose it's a rabbit and I'll prove it's a rabbit when I draw a rabbit's face on it. Like this~ =3 ne?
Sweatbands, they were 90s ne? Same as grunge is 90s ne? This little yellow cutie is from ASOS and here I mimic the face.
What two trends do you like to mix~ Let me know in the comments or via twitter. @KawaiiFifi
