DISNEY TATTOO-TIGHTS.

I've had these tights for a while now but I just really love them, as I do all things Disney. (╯3╰)

But most other things Disney things I have are Mickey + Minnie ~ so I love my Daisy Duck addition, she's a cutie.

I chose a thick denier in these tights because my legs get cold easily. But they still do look like I have an awesome Disney Tattoo across my legs~! And wearing them with my clear JuJu jelly shoes means that you can see the whole print too.

Here I added Ribbons to my Jelly Shoes to go with daisy and it doesn't totally cover the print on my feet!

This last look is on lookbook.nu so if you're on there please let me know what you think !!  ~~

きをつけて, my lovelies.♥

BIRDS NEST.

Spring is here !!

Chiii~huuu !! (((((ノ☉3☉)ノ

["yippeee" in Hawaiian Pigeon]

So to celebrate Spring I bought some birds...

fake ones though.

They live in my hair [yep, this is how my brain works].

I got them from Paperchase, in the wedding section [an exciting place to be as I'm planning mine *eeeee*]. I think they're meant to be on place settings and things like that, but this isn't the first time I've worn birds in my hair so I knew right away where their new home would be!

They had quite dark brown feathers on them so I had them clipped, 1. So they don't fly away *duh* and 2. because I very rarely wear brown in any capacity.

Their little crocodile clips are probably murdering my bleached hair but it means they haven't fallen out!

So here they are in action !!

They sit really nice
with my flower headband.

With bows too!

Let me know what you think ~ should I wear more animals in my hair? *yes*
What creature should be next?

S//S13 'HIGH ST.' PIECES

Wow so not going to talk about vintage stuff this time. (0_0) Fashion goes around in circles and if I get something from the "High Street" then they'll be like a billion other people with the same stuff ~ so I usually avoid it.
But this Spring there has been two things that I really liked, and I'm going to show you them in one outfit ~ Efficient ne!

\(^0^)/

So the first thing is this RAD raglan sleeve baseball top. I really love old school style sport stuff and have been after something with raglan sleeves for a while. So that style together with a totally dated word is just so awesome to me. It's from Urban Outfitters ~ you can get it HERE.

The next thing is...

My awesome new Vans ~ these are the new SS vans collection, they come in acid wash blue too but for me, the closer to pink the better. ;P
I added the smiley face laces to make them even more interesting + unique !! :)
You can get them from the vans website or from Office, which is where I got mine. ^3^
I really love them ~ they're so comfy and something I can just pull on whenever.

So I had to balance out these store bought high street stuff with something handmade from Etsy ~ my flower headband from the Etsy store MILKTEA.

~Outfit Breakdown~
Flower headband ~ MILKTEA
Oversized Flannel Shirt ~ Ralph Lauren Polo (Rokit)
RAD Baceball top ~ Urban Outfitters
Denim cut-offs ~ Levis (DIY)
Gold Spotty tights ~ H&M
Long Grey socks ~ MySocks (Rokit)
Shoes ~ Vans
Laces ~ Ebay. :P

Let me know what you think!x

OUTFIT POST #8.

This outfit is all about my new bobble hat.

Loads of random woolly hats in the shop at the moment but this one caught my eye because of the contrast bobble ~ pink dyed fur, super weird, I love it.
I was a little unsure about mixing all these colours before getting dressed this morning but I figured I just don't care that much. Making my outfit match my hair is fun sometimes if I want to wear all blue + look like a doll//alien, but it's a bit of a hassle and cuts down my options by a fair bit. Also it's so colour timid. I don't care about clashing ~ I figured I already have bright blue hair and a bright pink hat, lets wear some animal print to up the crazy.

I wore my unicorn necklace from cute-plush.com for a touch of kawaii.
The faces I pull aren't very kawaii though ~ne ;D
Duck-Face~am I doing it right?

My shirt is my mum's from when she was a little older than I am now ~ so it's sorta vintage//hand-me-down.

Finished off the outfit with my multi-faux fur jacket and my pikachu bag ~ and I'm ready for the world. Hah;P

OUTFIT POST #7.

♪'GOLD Always believe in your soul'♪

This shiny little gold number is from our fancy dress section at the shop, but I prefer to dress it down as more of a day wear item. It's made from this tinsel-like fabric and leaves little shiny bits where ever I go [just spreadin' the love right?]
That does mean that at some point I will have no dress so I'm enjoying it while it lasts, and as it's tinsel ~ I have no idea how to wash it so we'll see how that goes.

The only problem with it [that I managed to half-fix with a belt is that someone has decided to put in the strangest bust darts to create some uneven pointy boob effect... not sure why... You can almost see the darts in the top picture there. That's what you've always gotta look out for with vintage stuff ~ someone could have altered it, professionally or just a DIY job before we get it in the store, they may have made the entire thing from scratch [we do have some granny's jumpers in at the moment[!!]] and the chances are it wasn't altered to fit a standard size 10.

Long sleeve top - H&M
Dress - Rokit
Belt - 'model's own' [got it from sister]
Socks - Rokit
Shoes - Adidas X Jeremy Scott

Got some cute black frilly socks from the shop the other day too, they have a super cute white bow at the back to make them that little bit more special.

OUTFIT POST #6.

This is just a simple little outfit ~ but I thought I would show you it because of my shoes and my t-shirt. :3

Here's the t-shirt~ I have a few geeky t-shirts, and this one recently was upgraded from sleepwear to daywear. I'm not sure how easy it is to read, it says~ "NINJA // XL // Propety of the assassin department".
It's meant to be a kinda play off of the "property of the physical education department" or something, which tickled me a little. I wish it didn't say XL, because I didn't buy an XL, this is a small men's T. I really think they should of stuck to their little t-shirt joke and made it so it said the size you bought, but I understand the cost implications in that so I'm not too upset.

Winter shoes! Well... not really with the cut-outs at the side but they're my smart smart work shoes from when I worked at Reiss, they're Dr.Martins but I wish they had the little tag at the bag so it's more obvious that there are. I'm still breaking them in at the moment, DMs take such a long time so get super comfy but that's how you know they'll last. (^.^)

T-shirt - some geeky t-shirt website [Sorry! I can't remember!]
Skirt - Actually a top, from H&M, with the sleeves wrapped round my waist
Tights - H&M
Shoes - Dr.Martin

Hair is just half up to the side with a pom-pom hair band ~ also from H&M.

BANDANANANANA.

I love a bandanna. I always like to tie them at the front of my hair in a sort of Tu-pac style{see fig.1}.

{fig.1 ~ Tu-pac's headgear of choice.}

Unfortunatly for Tu-pac, having a fringe makes the whole bandanna placement a whole lot easier. They sit perfectly just above my bangs. Which is probably why I love wearing them so much, they're so quick and easy, and they come in endless varieties.

Here's one of my favourites.~

Of course it's a Disney Princess Bandanna
~ we're here for kawaii, ne? \(^o^)/

At the moment I'm wearing across Cinderella and Snow White ~ the two blue ones to match up with my hair a little. I might switch it up but I always press my bandanna's when they're folded to make sure they stay like that. So to switch them up like that would mean more ironing... (>.>)

One of the main issues with the bandanna when wearing it like I do is that you want to make sure most of the picture is visible. But folding it into itself like wrapping it up means that a lot of the pattern is disrupted. To fix that I fold them in half like normal then fold them like a fan until there's only a little bit left, then I wrap it around like usual. You can fan-fold it all the way but wrapping it around a little means that it won't slip out of the fold as easy. I super steam press them [mine are all cotton so it's okay ~ watch out with the polyester ones though[!!]].

I usually only need 1 or 2 kirbi grips to keep it still ~ usually beside the knot or just above my ear as shown.

WHAT I WON'T WEAR #1 THE BARELY-ON-BEANIE.

First of all I just want to say, "fair play" to all those who are rocking this look. I just don't really understand it and wouldn't ever wear it. Here's my explanation why with the help of MSPaint.

Yep, I'm talking about wearing your hat at the tip top of your head so it's barely touching your scalp, leaving the majority of the hat wasted fabric.

I'm tall enough as it is (probably 6ft but in denial about it), so to add about 20cm of extra height in the form of a unused hat shaped a little bit like a baby's bottle just doesn't appeal to me.
However, adding that height with a huge pink bow I may consider. ;3

I've been told that the man who started it all was T.I, and the hip hop scene have been doing it for decades and that's pretty cool...

But so have gnomes.

rockin'

Maybe it's because I'm from a cold country where hats are needed 70% of the year. But I have to admit I can't wait for this to go out of style - sorry! Here's another reason brought to you by MSpaint~

I know that most of these reasons have been about practicality, and there is that. But I wear glasses with no lenses in - I'm not known for practical dressing (honestly ask anyone who has met me even once). I just think it looks a wee bitty silly, there I said it... But you never know, one day I might be wearing the barely-on-beanie (with it's awesome name I just made up now) and then you can tell me to eat it.

But What do you think? Can you prove me wrong? Comments below or via twitter please !!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR?

My lovely sister-in-law took me to buy a wig when I was last visiting them and as I've been debating with whether to dye my hair a lighter colour I thought that I would wear it for a while. I like the idea of wearing it on occasional when I feel like a change, the same as I might decide to wear a hat.

Let me know what you think! ♥
