AMERICAN DREAMER.

moshimoshi minna-san~!!
(hello everyone)

It's been a while and I'm sorry !! (
⊙︿⊙)

I have been away ~ travelling my favorite country ~ the USA!

I went to visit my fiance and his lovely family

Me + My Love

My favorite place to visit was Las Vegas ~ walking along the strip at night with so many lights was magic, like a new Disneyland (and we all know how much I love Disneyland ≧◡≦ )

This is the outfit I wore for visiting the strip~ lots of bright colors to match the bright lights !!

 Hat - a gift from S.Korea ~ sorry I don't know where from!
Sunglasses(new), T-shirt, Shorts - Rokit
Shoes - Vans with custom laces.
My backpack is also from Rokit !
 Earrings and Necklace ~ Rokit too!! (*^o^*) hehe

Being a tourist !!

It was great to go abroad with so many vintage clothes. I once went to Boston, MA ~ bought a skirt from H&M and when I got back a friend of mine had the same skirt!(▼ヘ▼;)  All the things from Rokit are either rare or one of a kind (Rokit Recycled) ~ so I don't get into any awkward same top situations (which to me are more annoying when it's transatlantic) !! And it's vintage American clothing so I felt like I fit right in at the same time as being totally unique! Yippeee~! (ノ・◡・)ノ ♥
Well, you can let me know what you think, follow me on twitter + instragram @kawaiififi ~!!^^

きをつけて, my lovelies.

LOLITA VINTAGE.

Yay back to more vintage clothes ~!!

In just a second... :3

Recently I've been getting more into Lolita-kei styles.

[Here's some background]
I am really into Japanese street styles
, not very surprising I know, but if you're new here I just thought you should know that.

(o ̄ ̄o)

There are different styles and I've never been into labelling my own style but I like mixing around with these ones because the basis is to look kawaii rather than cool. And that's just me ~ I'm not cool at all. (⊙3⊙)

I first got into Decora ~ a long time ago. Internet rules state 'pics or it didn't happen' but I honestly can't find any. (≧▽≦) Decora means 'decorate' and is about decorating yourself with loads of accessories and colours.

I'm mentioning decora because sometimes I like to mix a little decora with lolita and fairy-kei styles.

Lolita comes in many different forms ~ Gothic lolita is a common one. A lot of frills, lace, corsets, big skirts, parasols ~ dressing like a doll. Pastel Lolita is my own personal favourite. ^^

Fairy-kei seems pretty new in comparison, it's basically pastel colours and childish things ~~ yaaayyy!!
~~~
ANYWAY ~ background over.
(◠‿◠)
Rokit have been getting in some older dresses ~ so I treated myself to a dress and some new shoes.
And from that comes my first attempt at lolita with an outfit entirely from Rokit [bar tights]
 ~(•ε • ~)
Liz Claiborne silk head scarf ~Rokit
Mickey+Minnie Mouse gold chain ~Rokit
Mint lace dress + cowgirl boots ~Rokit
Fluffy backpack with ears ~also from Rokit Still not sure what animal it is ~ I say rabbit, my other half says moose (!) and some of my friends say koala.
It was so fun being a little lolita ~ someone at the shop said I looked like a Polly Pocket *day made* hehe !! (≧◡≦)
So please let me know what you think ~ I'll be posting this to my lookbook.nu too ~~!!
HERE IT IS <-clicky
WHAT I WON'T WEAR #1 THE BARELY-ON-BEANIE.
First of all I just want to say, "fair play" to all those who are rocking this look. I just don't really understand it and wouldn't ever wear it. Here's my explanation why with the help of MSPaint.
Yep, I'm talking about wearing your hat at the tip top of your head so it's barely touching your scalp, leaving the majority of the hat wasted fabric.
I'm tall enough as it is (probably 6ft but in denial about it), so to add about 20cm of extra height in the form of a unused hat shaped a little bit like a baby's bottle just doesn't appeal to me.
However, adding that height with a huge pink bow I may consider. ;3
I've been told that the man who started it all was T.I, and the hip hop scene have been doing it for decades and that's pretty cool...
But so have gnomes.
rockin'
Maybe it's because I'm from a cold country where hats are needed 70% of the year. But I have to admit I can't wait for this to go out of style - sorry! Here's another reason brought to you by MSpaint~
I know that most of these reasons have been about practicality, and there is that. But I wear glasses with no lenses in - I'm not known for practical dressing (honestly ask anyone who has met me even once). I just think it looks a wee bitty silly, there I said it... But you never know, one day I might be wearing the barely-on-beanie (with it's awesome name I just made up now) and then you can tell me to eat it.
But What do you think? Can you prove me wrong? Comments below or via twitter please !!
