VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARD.

Heeehhhhh~?? Me?? Nominated~!!~? (ŎםŎ;)

Thanks to the beautiful Ellie from Rose and Vintage, I have been nominated for a Versatile Blogger Award !! (^3^) I never get nominated for anything so this is a little exciting~わくわく! So the rules are that I have to give like some facts about me, soo... here we go~~!

·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·

1~ I am Christian, I believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour. It's amazing to have my faith, it grounds me and keeps me going. But it's very difficult in the fashion world to stay strong to my faith but I believe that I was put here for that reason. So here I try my best!! (≧◡≦)

2~ I was born with an extra toe on my right foot and only had it completely removed last year. This is a post about it.

3~ I was in a film when I was a baby ~ playing the role of a baby. :P It was Catherine Cookson's The Black Candle. I got paid and I bought a cuddly teddy bear and a pair of shoes for my mum... although I didn't get a choice in my generosity  I wasn't aware of anything yet ~ I was living my role, ne. :3

4~ I have a fear of moths and butterflies, I don't like their fluttering wings and if one comes near me... well I'm just not prepared to let that happen.HAH

5~ 日本語おべんきょしてます。I'm teaching myself Japanese, and hope to study it once I settle down in one country.

6~ A lot of things I have or try on at work are actually for Kids ~ which just goes to show where my mental age is !! heehee My friend said that if I have an Biography it should be called "But it didn't fit because it was for a 5yo" ...

7~ When I was 'little' lets say I was 7-8 ~ I was being walked home from school by one of the mum's and her kids who went to the same school. I had no idea what to call her so I said
"Can I call you mum to make things easier?"

To which she replied No, and her kids were snickering at me. (;_;) <= not actually upset about it! :P

The rest of the walk was terribly awkward.

My sister loves to tell everyone this story so I thought I'd beat her to it and tell the internet. Haha It's pretty funny and we still laugh about it a lot, but it is just a drop in the ocean of embarrassing awkward moments of my life.

·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·*¯`·.,¸,.·

So there you go! I hope you enjoyed my facts ~ let me know in the comments the funniest/saddest/stupidest one was! heehee

SPRING ROKIT WINDOWS + ME.

So yesterday was the début of our spring window display (!!) + they are CHOU KAWAII~~!! \(*o*)/
It was so much fun seeing it all come together ~everyone's been working hard!! :o

And it's all pastel colours/ candy/ + colourful hair ~sound familiar...? ;D

They were saying that they dressed the mannequins up like me but it kinda is like a little look into a Candyland suburbia of the United States of Kawaii where I dream of living.

So as as little treat I got to play at my dream coming true in the Rokit windows. (^3^)~hihi!

Here I am hanging out with the mannequins ~ I felt like I was in a giant doll's house. (^-^)

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR?

My lovely sister-in-law took me to buy a wig when I was last visiting them and as I've been debating with whether to dye my hair a lighter colour I thought that I would wear it for a while. I like the idea of wearing it on occasional when I feel like a change, the same as I might decide to wear a hat.

Let me know what you think! ♥

PEG-LEG.

Some of you may have noticed me hopping about campus with my lovely decorated crutch - thanks to the help of my lovely Fashion Tech 4 girls
♥

[If you're squeamish about feet skip this next paragraph]

I'm not embarrassed at all when I say that I was born with a 6th toe on my right foot, or extra digit as the doctors like to call it... which I think is quite cute calling it an extra number like we still count using our fingers and toes - lucky me I can count to 21! When I was very small they removed most of this digit so I was down to 20.5, they left the last little bone in, something to do with having to wait until my foot stopped growing. Then when I was about 15 or something doctors told me that my foot had grown enough and that I could take it out but by then I had grown quite fond of it and decided to keep it. But in the last year the little left-over bone started to grow, I guess because of bone regeneration or something. This was beginning to cause some problems as the bone was now digging into the rest of my foot and so it was decided that I'd have it removed. The operation was last week, I thought that when I woke up they'd bring me it to see at least but my flat mate informs me that it probably went straight to the hospital incinerator - bye bye little 0.5 toe.

The crutches were fun for about 2 days but now they just get in the way. I'm down to only needing one crutch but I'm not allowed to sew... well I can use my left foot on the peddle but it feels so weird, like writing with your other hand. The main thing I've noticed is that people are so very nice to me, asking me if they can carry things for me, picking things up if I drop them - I feel quite bad to be such a bother to everyone so I try to do as much as I can on my own.

Love the idea of crutch decorations, they definitely cheered me up. But the sewing is now piling up so I hope I'll be able to use my foot again soon.x
